DELIVERY INFORMATION- Thank you for choosing our expert delivery service!

  • In case you are not able to be present at time of delivery, a person 18 years or older must be present to inspect and sign off on furniture delivered. The person signing, is signing on your behalf.
  • We do not assemble bunkbeds.
  • If you need to reschedule your delivery date, contact KEY Home at (503) 598-9948 at least 48 hours before your scheduled delivery day. Changes to your delivery date once your furniture is on a delivery truck will result in an additional nominal fee.
  • Track your furniture the moment it leaves our dock! See scheduled date and time window, status, expected arrival time with live updating, delivery address, items, quantities, and your delivery service team. You will also see a map displaying the exact location of your furniture and how many stops are before yours.
  • Stated delivery fees or shipping fees are for Zone A (Portland Metro area) only. Add additional $50 for Zone B. See sales associate for prices for long distance shipping fees and delivery fees.

    Our Free Shipping service offers a skilled delivery person who will unload the item(s) from the truck and take it to the first dry area outside your home (front door, porch, or garage). You will then be responsible for further transport beyond that point. Available in the PDX Metro only.
    • Drop Off Scheduling: You will be notified that your furniture has arrived and schedule a delivery date. The night prior to your drop off you will be notified of the 3-hour arrival appointment window.
    • Assembly and Packaging removal is not included.
    • In the event you would like to have your merchandise delivered & assembled to the room of choice, accept the shipment and call the store to schedule and pay for the additional service.
  • $49-IN HOME DROP OFF- 3-hour arrival appointment window.
    Our In Home Drop Off service offers a skilled delivery person who will unload the item(s) from the truck and take it through the most accessible entry into your home. You will then be responsible for further transport beyond that point.
    • Drop Off Scheduling: You will be notified that your furniture has arrived and schedule a delivery date. The night prior to your drop off you will be notified of the 3-hour arrival appointment window.
    • Assembly and Packaging removal is not included.
    • Only available for Zone A (Portland Metro area).
    • In the event you would like to have your merchandise delivered & assembled to the room of choice, accept the shipment and call the store to schedule and pay for the additional service.

A delivery team will bring your item(s) inside and place it in the room of your choice. Packaging will be removed and disposed of, followed by basic assembly for your convenience. *Upstairs carrying limit of two flights of stairs (up to 15 steps each)
    • Appointment Scheduling: You will be notified that your furniture has arrived and schedule a delivery date. The night prior to your delivery you will be notified of the 3-hour arrival appointment window.
    • Clear room(s) and decide where your new furniture will be placed prior to delivery. Due to insurance restrictions, the delivery team is not authorized or able to move or remove existing furniture, electronics, etc.
    • There is an additional fee of $99 per piece that would be applied if disassembly and re-assembly of sofa is required to fit into the room. Furniture that does not fit in the home will forfeit delivery refund and is subject to our Cancellations and Returns Policy.
      • $149-SAME DAY PLATINUM FULL SERVICE DELIVERY & ASSEMBLY- 3-hour arrival appointment window.
        • Same Day Shipping is considered for purchase anytime before 2pm on the day of delivery or after 2pm for next day delivery.
        • Only available for Zone A (Portland Metro area).
        • Only available for in-stock items. Some items excluded. See sales associate for details.
  • $299-PLATINUM FULL SERVICE DELIVERY & ASSEMBLY- Guaranteed 30-minute arrival appointment window. You choose your time of day!
    Platinum Full Service Delivery takes your item from delivery to assembly. A delivery team will bring your item(s) inside and place it in the room of your choice. Packaging will be removed and disposed of, followed by basic assembly for your convenience. *Upstairs carrying limit of two flights of stairs (up to 15 steps each)
    • Appointment Scheduling: You will be notified your furniture has arrived and schedule a delivery date and specific 30-minute arrival appointment window for the delivery team to arrive on the delivery day. The night prior to your delivery we will confirm your 30-minute arrival appointment window.
    • Once the arrival appointment window has been confirmed the delivery in non-cancelable and non-refundable. In the event we do not arrive in the 30-minute appointment window your entire delivery fee will be refunded.
    • Clear room(s) and decide where your new furniture will be placed prior to delivery. Due to insurance restrictions, the delivery team is not authorized or able to move or remove existing furniture, electronics, etc.
    • There is an additional fee of $99 per piece that would be applied if disassembly and re-assembly of sofa is required to fit into the room. Furniture that does not fit in the home will forfeit delivery refund and is subject to our Cancellations and Returns Policy.

Zone B pricing is the same as Zone A pricing with an additional $50 charge. We deliver to Zone B areas once per week. We will inform you of the day we will be delivering in your area when we call to schedule.

Washington

All Washington deliveries are consumer-contracted through S & K Delivery, Top Line Delivery, or any other carrier of consumer's choice. KEY Home Furnishings does not deliver to the state of Washington. KEY Home Furnishings does not and will not act as a contract agent between consumer and delivery carrier. S & K Delivery (S&K) and Top Line Delivery (TLD) are delivery services contracted by the customer and are not affiliated with the seller. Thus all delivery fees will be payable to S&K or TLD at time of delivery (cash or check only). Any damage claims to the home or furniture during delivery will be directed to S&K or TLD and must be reported within 48 hours.

Top Line Delivery (subject to change):

Clark County: 4.5% of sale (Minimum $129)
Cowlitz County: 6% of sale (Minimum $169)
Skamania County: 6% of sale (Minimum $169)

S & K Delivery (subject to change):

Standard Delivery Fee: $65

Standard Delivery Includes:
Sofa feet put on, standard bed frames assembled, recliner assembled and trash/boxes recycled. S & K takes all packaging and wrapping when completed with install or setup of any items unless informed not to.

Setup Fee Details: $45.00 an hour (2 employees Inc.) (.75 min. pro-rated)
For additional charge S & K Deliveries can setup most items purchased from KEY Home, but this will need to be arranged prior to delivery so the appropriate amount of time can be scheduled. (Call for availability.)

Long Distance Delivery:
Fee is calculated at $1.00 per mile, both ways, after 15 miles from the I-5 bridge at Washington border. (Feel free to call for a quote: 503-913-8500.)


Same-Day Delivery Policy

Purchase by 2 p.m. and get it delivered today!

The Fine Print: Same-day delivery for in-stock items only. Local areas only (Portland metro). Schedule permitting on regular delivery days. Oregon only. Same-day delivery orders must be placed before 2 p.m. Regular delivery charges apply. Online orders excluded. Some items excluded. See store for details.

Delivery and Pick-Up Policies

Unless other arrangements are made, all merchandise must be delivered or picked up within 30 days of availability. After 30 days, a $100.00 per month storage fee will be charged.

Delivery

It is your responsibility to ensure that all furniture items will fit through all doorways, up stairwells, down halls, and around corners into the desired location. For any tight fit, the driver may request that you sign a damage waiver prior to attempting delivery. KEY Home Furnishings is not responsible for item(s) that are too large to be delivered or setup in the desired location. It is your responsibility to measure to ensure deliverability, and to ensure that items are the desired size for the intended location. For any items that are too large to be delivered or set up, delivery fees will not be refunded.

Please notify Key Home Furnishings (KHF) of any special requirements in order to complete your delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, small trucks to navigate narrow roads and driveways, restricted delivery time frames due to local ordinances, proof of insurance for high rise and condominium buildings and service elevator reservations. Orders that are cancelled or rescheduled due to special requirements not communicated prior to delivery will be charged the appropriate fees. You are responsible for protecting your floors from damage by laying rugs, blankets, or cardboard down prior to delivery. KHF will not be responsible for damage to any floors.

Your delivery date is scheduled at the point of sale, with the exception of special order items. If you need to change your delivery date after you have finalized your purchase, contact our customer service department at 503-598-9948 at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled delivery date, or you will be charged an additional delivery fee.

If you choose delivery, you agree to be available from 8am - 8pm the day of delivery. The KHF customer service team will call you before 9pm the day prior to confirm a specific three (3) hour delivery window. If you have any questions, please call customer service at 503-598-9948.

An authorized adult must be home during your scheduled delivery window to accept and inspect your items and sign the delivery ticket. If no authorized adult is home to receive your scheduled delivery, you will be charged an additional delivery fee to reschedule the second delivery.

Pick-Ups

  • PICK-UPS INFORMATION- Due to the nature of furniture, we highly encourage you to have your furniture expertly delivered.
    • All items must be paid in full through the store before pick up. If your items are in stock at our warehouse, you may stop by to pick up your items anytime during the warehouse hours. If your furniture needs to be ordered from the manufacturer, Key Home Furnishings personnel will contact you as soon as your product is in. Payments may be done through the store over the phone with a credit or debit card or directly at the store with cash or check. No payments are accepted at the warehouse location. If paying with a check, please allow 7-10 business days before we can release the furniture.
    • A copy of your invoice is required when picking up your furniture.
    • It is the responsibility of you, the customer, to inspect all pick-up items prior to loading into/onto your vehicle. KHF’s staff can assist you in loading your merchandise, but due to insurance regulations, KHF cannot secure the merchandise to your vehicle. KHF is not responsible for any loss or damage to merchandise or damage to your vehicle during the loading process. KHF assumes no responsibility for items that are damaged during or after loading, during transport, or damage incurred during assembly. Be sure to bring plenty of help and plenty of adequate tie-downs and moving blankets.
    • Transportation of items is not covered in the event that a service or warranty issue is discovered. If you choose to pick up your furniture, it is the responsibility of you, the customer, to provide additional transportation to and from the warehouse to facilitate the manufacturer’s warranty.
    • KHF does not deliver outside the state of Oregon. If you choose to have your furniture delivered outside the state of Oregon or by a delivery company other than KHF, the delivery service company you choose is an agent hired by you, is acting on your behalf, and is subject to KHF’s Pick-Ups Information listed above. All pick up information applies. KHF is not and will not be the shipping agent. KHF is held harmless of all damage claims. All damage claims must be noted and brought to your hired agent’s attention at time of delivery.

Acceptance and Inspection

It is the customer's responsibility to thoroughly inspect all furniture and accessories at the time of delivery and make appropriate notations before signing. All damage to furniture, damage to packaging, missing items, or other problems must be noted in writing on the delivery paperwork. If customer signs for an item and then later discovers damage, Key Home Furnishings is not responsible to send a replacement piece or have it repaired. A signature indicates acceptance; without inspecting the boxes, customer accepts the shipment "as is" and will be fully responsible for any replacements (including freight) or repair costs if transit related.

If damage is noticed during delivery, please contact Key Home Furnishings immediately, while the delivery team is in your home. If you are unable to reach us, please note the damage in detail on the delivery ticket and accept the merchandise until we can resolve the issue. The customer service team will be able to serve you better with the furniture in your home and will contact you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. In most cases, issues can be easily resolved without shipping anything back to our retail store or the factory. The most important step is to make detailed notes on the delivery receipt that the customer service team will receive from the delivery company. Please note that refusing a delivery may result in additional delivery charges.

If items are damaged in shipping, the customer must notify Key Home Furnishings within 48 hours. Issues arising after 48 hours are considered warranty issues. Digital photos that clearly show the damage must be sent via e-mail to info@keyhomefurnishings.com.
